Eric Bailly Manchester United

Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has suffered a knee ligament injury, according to manager Jose Mourinho.
The centre-back was taken off during the Red Devil’s 4-0 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, it’s a result that leaves United seventh in the Premier League, six points off leaders Manchester City.
The Ivorian went down heavily after going into a challenge with Chelsea’s Eden Hazard only minutes into the second half and despite getting up, Bailly was replaced shortly after by Marcos Rojo.
Things went from bad to worse following the match, as United boss Mourinho confirmed that it was the defender’s knee that was injured.
“He is injured and I am afraid it is a bad injury. It is in his knee ligament,” said Mourinho after the match.
