Rihanna and Prince Harry are making an effort to destigmatize getting tested for HIV.
In honor of World AIDS Day, the Needed Me songstress and the royal joined forces once again in RiRi's native Barbados to address the importance of combating the virus to prevent its spread — something near and dear to both of their hearts.
On Thursday, the public figures sat side-by-side as they both got blood drawn at a local drop-in center in Bridgetown (above).
During the finger-pricking, the 28-year-old joked to the prince:
"You made it seem like it hurts. It's not as painful as you said this morning."
LOLz!
Both tests came back negative, but it still helps bring awareness to the cause.
The 32-year-old explained why getting tested is so essential:
"Because of the success of these drugs, which is great, we are now suffering from complacency and risk going back 10 or 20 years."
