Florence Henderson 'Brady Bunch' alum dies at 82

Florence Henderson, branded TV mum for her inspiring role in The Brady Bunch, died on Thursday, November 24, at age 82.
The veteran Hollywood actress died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, Daily Mail reports.
The news was confirmed by the late actress' manager, Kayla Pressman, revealing that Henderson died on Thanksgiving night surrounded by family and friends.
She was reportedly hospitalized the previous day, on Wednesday, November 23.
A statement issued by the Henderson family read, “We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our dear mother Florence Henderson from Heart Failure.
“On this day of thanks, our beloved mother was surrounded by her devoted children and dearest friends. We thank all of her fans for their many years of love and ask that we be allowed to grieve in private.”
Henderson was last seen on camera on Monday, November 21, at the taping of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.”

Her TV daughter, Maureen McCormick of “Brady Bunch” fame, was a contestant on the show this season. Henderson was a contender on the show in 2010
Henderson is survived by her children Barbara, Joseph, Robert, Lizzie and their respective spouses as well as her five grandchildren.
