Nigerian international, Ahmed Musa, finally opened his goal-scoring account in the English Premier League on Saturday as he scored one of the goals in Leicester City’s 3-1 win over Crystal Palace.
Leicester manager, Claudio Ranieri, showed faith in Musa in the absence of Jamie Vardy, and the fleet-footed Nigerian forward repaid the confidence with a goal.
Shinji Okazaki and Christian Fuchs also scored for the Foxes to ensure another win for the reigning EPL Champions.
Musa is now the 29th Nigerian player to score in the English top flight, joining the likes of Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Kanu Nwankwo and Austin Okocha among others on the impressive roster.
