Mourinho discusses his future plans in coaching

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has dropped a hint about his future plans in coaching.

Mourinho was appointed United boss in the summer as Louis van Gaal’s replacement, but has endured a mixed time at Old Trafford thus far.

The club made a positive start to life in the Premier League, securing three victories and boosting their title credentials.

However, they now sit eighth after losing three of their opening ten games.

Mourinho was asked about a number of subjects before United’s Europa League clash with Fenerbahce on Thursday, including Bastian Schweinsteiger‘s return to first-team training.

The Portuguese, who was fined and suspended by the FA on Wednesday, also discussed his future.

“The first time that I got an invitation to leave Porto and coach abroad it was a Turkish club back in 2002/03,” Mourinho said.

“It didn’t happen. Since then, 13/14 years of football it never happened again.

“Now I’m where I want to be – so happy to be. In the minimum, I want to stay until the end of my contract.

“After that, who knows? I’m a football man, very young so.

“I love passion for the game and in Turkey there is huge passion for the game so why not?”
