Alicia Keys Changes Her Performance On The Voice Due To The 'Current Climate' As One Singer Is Sent Packing

no title
Every week, The Voice gets tougher and tougher as we have to say goodbye to some pretty talented artists, and this week CERTAINLY wasn't any different! But at least we got an INCREDIBLE performance from Alicia Keys!

After last week's live episode that left a lot of fans pretty upset, the singing show decided to only eliminate ONE person this week, but some people STILL weren't happy!
Tuesday night marked the elimination show, which meant it was time to reveal the singers who were safe (below):
Ali Caldwell (Team Miley)
Wé McDonald (Team Alicia)
Brendan Fletcher (Team Adam)
Courtney Harrell (Team Blake)
Billy Gilman (Team Adam)
Darby Walker (Team Miley)
Austin Allsup (Team Blake)
Christian Cuevas (Team Alicia)
Josh Gallagher (Team Adam)
Sundance Head (Team Blake)
Unfortunately, you'll notice Sa'Rayah and Aaron Gibson both didn't make the cut which meant they had to battle each other for the Twitter save of the night! Sa'Rayah chose to belt out Aretha Franklin's Rock Steady while Gibson took on Ed Sheeran's Lego House!
After a VERY short window, the Twitter votes were in and Gibson ended up staying!

Though there were plenty of bummed fans online, the pair's head-to-head wasn't the only highlight as Alicia decided to do a little self-promoting too!
Keys' new album, Here, recently dropped and the songstress was originally supposed to perform Blended Family off her latest project, but Alicia decided to change things up after singing the intro to her new single as she stated:
"Due to the current climate, there is only one song I can sing, and that's Holy War."
Seeing as how the song is all about love and being loved, we're DEFINITELY about it right now!
