Update on Kim Kardashian Robbery: Hotel Concierge Says Thieves 'Weren't There for Jewels'

More terrifying details. The concierge who was held at gunpoint as Kim Kardashian was robbed in her Paris hotel earlier this month says that the thieves were after cash, not the reality star's multimillion-dollar jewelry.

Abdulrahman, who won't use his last name due to security concerns, told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, October 26 that the robbers "were there for money."

The concierge was handcuffed and taken to the first floor, where Kardashian was staying with her sister Kourtney Kardashian (who was out with Kendall Jenner on the night of the robbery, October 3) and stylist Simone Harouche.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 36, was on her bed when the five men and Abdulrahman arrived.
When she saw police, because they were dressed like police, she didn't understand for a few seconds," he told ET.
A language barrier complicated things because the thieves were speaking in French and the Selfish author initially thought they wanted her phones.

"[The robber] said, 'I don't need phones,' in French," but Kardashian didn't understand him, "and the guy was asking for money, money, money," the concierge said.

He added that Kardashian, who was "screaming like hell" during the heist, believed that they were there for the $4.5 million ring that her husband, Kanye West, had given her.
