As we reported, after a dramatic fight in Greece with now-ex James Packer, Mariah Carey began developing a "close relationship" with backup dancer Bryan Tanaka. Not only did they hang out in Vegas, they attended a Halloween party DAYS ago!

Well, it looks like the billionaire caught wind of their romantic tension because he totally went berserk on the choreographer!
According to sources, Packer became "jealous" of their bond, especially in May when Bryan gave the Infinity songstress a lap dance at a performance in South Africa!
However, sh*t really hit the fan in June! During that time, Bryan suffered a knee injury so he wasn't able to perform on stage. However, he STILL showed up to her concerts, making Packer furious!
When James saw him, he reportedly took him into a room where the two men got HEATED! No word if things got physical, but there was a lot of yelling!
Insiders say the businessman even tried to get Tanaka banned from several of his casinos, including Caesar's Palace where Mimi performs.
