Kim Kardashian West may be loyally by her husband Kanye West's side amid his hospitalization, but prior to the Famous rapper's breakdown, the KUWTK star reportedly wanted a break. Yikes!
Following Keeks' armed robbery during Paris Fashion Week, things weren't great between Kimye.
According to one source, the entire situation has "just been hell for them". While the mother-of-two struggled to recover from her harrowing experience, Yeezus returned to the Saint Pablo tour, which put a strain on their relationship.
The insider dished to Us Weekly:
"The trauma of the incident made her more hesitant to do things. Of course it strained their relationship, because she hadn't seen him."
Not to mention, it's said 'Ye's workaholic lifestyle made things difficult at home for the working momma. A West pal relayed to the site:
"He would be up all night ranting about things. He'd be up drawing, writing and sketching, or pacing and doing push-ups. he would not calm down and go to bed…. They were fighting because he was impossible to live with."
We believe that to be true!
As you surely know, the All Day artist was admitted to the UCLA Medical Center earlier this month after suffering from a breakdown. North West's poppa is currently being treated for extreme exhaustion.
A friend close to Kim hinted at the twosome's marital problems as they stated:
"She felt like now she needed him to be stable and her rock instead of the other way around. Kanye's so used to getting Kim's constant support and coding, but it's always about Kanye… She didn't know if she could take it anymore, and this time she refused to support him.
And although the businesswoman may've been frustrated with West's antics, she may not have realized how badly her robbery affected him.
One confidant revealed Kardashian's trauma reminded Kanye of the pain he felt when his mother passed away, a loss he's never really recovered from. The source close to the hitmaker noted:
"The mere thought of his wife being taken from him was too much — it was like his mother's death. Seeing Kim close to death did a major number on him. It sent him into a tailspin."
Poor guy.
Regardless, right before Saint West's mom left for her scheduled appearance at the Angel Ball, Kim told Kanye she wanted a break and didn't want to speak to him. Whoa.
Of course, this feeling didn't last long because when Kim arrived in NYC she received a call about Kanye's breakdown. As you may recall, the Selfish author rushed to be by the father of her children's side and has remained there ever since. A tipster relayed:
"Kanye's behavior took a huge toll on their marriage. But Kim feels relieved he is getting the help he needs. She thinks this is what it will take to save him — and help their marriage."
