1, 2, 3, freeze! Britney Spears and Kate Hudson are among the latest stars to take on the viral Mannequin Challenge video craze — and they both totally nailed it.
Spears, 34, and her backup dancers took a break from rehearsing for her hit Las Vegas residency show, Britney: Piece of Me, on Saturday, November 12, to try their hand at the challenge. "We use our bodies to make our own #MannequinChallenge," Spears captioned the video on Instagram, referencing lyrics from her new single "Slumber Party," which was also playing in the background of the clip.
In the video, the pop superstar strikes a pose on stage at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino as her dancers also freeze in place. At the end of the clip, a sign shows off Spears' latest accomplishment, being named the best resident performer in the Las Vegas Review-Journal's 2016 Best of Las Vegas Awards for the second year in a row.
"THANK YOU for voting #PieceOfMe for @TheBestOfLV!!!" Spears wrote on Instagram.
Hudson, 37, also did the Mannequin Challenge while attending a party in Malibu with her 12-year-old son, Ryder. Rachel Zoe and her 5-year-old son, Skyler, are also seen in the video, as are stylist Jamie Schneider, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer and actresses Sara Foster, Erin Foster and Courteney Cox.
"Mannequin Challenge Take 86," Sara, 35, captioned the video on her Instagram account, hinting that the group initially had trouble coming to a standstill together.
Spears and Hudson are among the dozens of celebrities who've dominated the Mannequin Challenge. LeBron James, Michelle Obama, Blac Chyna, Hillary Clinton and Adele also previously participated in the viral test that's sweeping the globe. Watch more Mannequin Challenge videos here!
