Mariah Carey Breaks Social Media Silence After James Packer Split, Steps Out With Dancer Bryan Tanaka

Mariah Carey, Bryan Tanaka
Mariah Carey's 35-carat diamond engagement ring isn't the only thing on the move. The pop diva stepped out in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 29, with backup dancer Bryan Tanaka days after news broke of her split from James Packer.

Carey was photographed arriving and leaving Catch restaurant with Tanaka, who was rumored to be one of the causes of tension in Carey and Packer's relationship. (A source told Us, however, that the close pals weren't romantically involved, and that Carey "didn't cheat.")
Inside the L.A. hostspot, the "Hero" singer chatted with another close friend and posed for a sweet photo together, which Carey later shared on Instagram, breaking her brief social media silence.

"#realfriends who don't read Woman's Day," the entertainer captioned the post, throwing shade at the Australian magazine that first broke the news of the split. "#wedontknowyou We love you #Australianlambs.
Drama aside, Carey looked stunning at Catch in a short black dress that accentuated her cleavage, fishnet stockings and black heels. She wore an enormous butterfly ring on her left ring finger and switched her $10 million engagement ring over to her right hand, wearing it loosely midway down her middle finger.
