Prince Harry Meets Up with Monaco’s Princess Charlene at Rugby Match

Prince Harry was in attendance for a rugby match between England and South Africa, on Saturday, ahead of U.K. Remembrance Day events.

Harry, 32, who is the vice patron of the Rugby Football Union, cheered on the players in the Autumn International game at Twickenham stadium. However, he wasn’t the only royal in the stands. Monaco’s Princess Charlene, who was born in South Africa, joined the prince at the game.

Before the game, Harry visited and laid a wreath at the newly-installed Rose and Poppy Gates, which were sponsored by the Rugby Football Union. The Gates commemorate the U.K. military members who lost their lives in World War I.

He also met with contributors to the Union’s Rose and Poppy film series, which covers how the war impacted rugby communities.

The outing comes shortly after the prince’s girlfriend Meghan Markle was spotted in London on Thursday, carrying grocery bags towards her boyfriend’s Kensington Palace home, Nottingham Cottage.

Markle, 35, appeared to be taking a break from filming the sixth season of her USA show Suits, which is currently in production in Toronto.
