Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Sell Their New Orleans Home for $4.9 Million

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie sold their joint New Orleans home for $4.9 million, with the sale officially closing Friday, October 28, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The superstar couple, who announced their decision to split last month, originally purchased the home in 2007 following Hurricane Katrina for a cool $3.5 million. At the time, Pitt, 52, had just established the Make It Right Foundation to help develop new housing in New Orleans’ Lower Ninth Ward neighborhood.
It sold for a very fair price,” listing agent Nina Killeen told the site. “It’s a good deal for both parties. They’re happy with the outcome.

According to the listing, the home is a three-story, 1830s-era mansion that includes five bedrooms, three bathrooms and two half-baths, at 7,645 feet.

In addition to New Orleans, the pair also have homes in Los Angeles, Malibu and Long Island. Multiple sources tell Us that the former costars have plans to sell off Château Miraval, their expansive estate and vineyard in the village of Correns, France.
The home has been valued and is going on the market any day now,” an insider told Us of the sale, adding that Jolie and Pitt’s line of rosé, which is created at Château Miraval’s prize-winning vineyards, will need a rebranding.

“It currently says ‘Jolie-Pitt’ on the Château Miraval bottles, and the next season’s batch will have a new reprinted label with no names written on it,” the source said.
